As our Procurement &amp; Logistics Manager you will be responsible for providing a procurement and logistics management service to the relevant business unit through frequent reporting and ensuring that goods are delivered on time, within budget and compliant with procurement policies and within the expected quality requirements. Including contracts administration of the various supply, services and construction contracts and where necessary offer input into the relevant Head EPC Contract administration. Main responsibilities        Operating System<ul> <li>Follow the guidelines and prescribed structures as outlined by the operating system </li> <li>Provide continuous input towards improvement and optimization of the operating system </li> <li>Successfully implement the operating system throughout the structuring and execution phase of the Project </li> <li>Understand how the Supply Chain business unit fits into the wider organization</li></ul> Structuring Phase of projects <ul> <li>Manage all assigned Procurement and Logistics team members within the designated project </li> <li>Ensure that all supply chain related risks are identified during the structuring phase, timeously communicated to Project Manager and incorporated into the project risk register for tracking and mitigation </li> <li>Prepare and issue logistics advice to the project </li> <li>Responsible for all project RFP’s, evaluations, recommendations, and final procurement strategy </li> <li>Support negotiations with Suppliers and Contractors and prepare final draft contracts in coordination with the legal team </li> <li>Assist the project manager and cost control to incorporate the project estimate into the controlling tool </li> <li>Compile and manage the Procurement Package Plan </li> <li>Ensure that the correct contract templates are loaded, reviewed and applicable for use during RFP’s </li> <li>Establish and maintain the project shipping register once contracts are in place and before shipments commence </li> <li>Identify project site roles and recruit the required resources in line with the execution </li> <li>requirements of the project </li></ul> Delivery/execution phase <ul> <li>Ensure that all contracts are signed, filed, and distributed to relevant parties </li> <li>Ensure that all contracts are managed according to the agreed provisions </li> <li>Efficient management of resources ensuring deliverables are achieved on time </li> <li>Ensure that the milestone project documentation is obtained, shared on the document management system and communicated to Project Team </li> <li>Advise the Project Manager of potential contract breaches and manage assigned project risks </li> <li>Prepare and implement contract variations to Suppliers timeously and ensure receipt of variations is acknowledged/agreed upon </li> <li>Ensure that all procurement packages are managed within contract budget and ensure that contracts are closed out at end of project </li> <li>Advise Projects and Operations team on appropriate training to Operation &amp;
