Job Overview We are hiring for an Applications Engineer to provide technical expertise and help customers find the best product and service solutions for their needs. Key Responsibilities<ul style=""><li style="margin:0px;font-size:11pt;line-height:1.38;">Working very closely with the sales team to support the installation, configuration, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and customer training of Turntide products or solutions remotely or at global customer locations.</li><li style="margin:0px;font-size:11pt;line-height:1.38;">Providing technical support to customers queries, RFQs, or design reviews related to Turntide’s products and ensure they are handled within the allotted time.</li><li style="margin:0px;font-size:11pt;line-height:1.38;">Verifying and validating product and systems configured or customised for customer usage to ensure the customer needs are met.</li><li style="margin:0px;font-size:11pt;line-height:1.38;">Collaborating with engineering team or domain expert to resolve difficult in-field issues in a prompt manner.</li><li style="margin:0px;font-size:11pt;line-height:1.38;">Partner with our Sales, Product &amp; Engineering organizations to drive new business opportunities, improving the customer experience whilst bringing new customer insights back in-house for future product developments.</li><li style="margin:0px;font-size:11pt;line-height:1.38;">Supporting design for installation and maintenance activities as part of the development projects.</li></ul>The Requirements<ul style=""><li style="margin:0px;font-size:11pt;line-height:1.38;">Bachelors degree or above in Electrical, Electronics, or related engineering field. Relevant engineering or technical experience could also be considered.</li><li style="margin:0px;font-size:11pt;line-height:1.38;">Technical background or experience in one or more of the following or relevant:</li><li style="margin:0px;font-size:11pt;line-height:1.38;list-style:none;"><ul style=""><li style="margin:0px;font-size:11pt;line-height:1.38;">Electric motors</li><li style="margin:0px;font-size:11pt;line-height:1.38;">Battery storage solutions / Battery Management Systems</li><li style="margin:0px;font-size:11pt;line-height:1.38;">Power Electronics (Inverters, DCDCs, OBCs)</li></ul></li><li style="margin:0px;font-size:11pt;line-height:1.38;">Experience in working with customers in technical setting, including team problems solving and solution selling.</li><li style="margin:0px;font-size:11pt;line-height:1.38;">Ability to work from technical manuals, work instructions, work orders and follow-up of historic troubleshooting findings and notes.</li><li style="margin:0px;font-size:11pt;line-height:1.38;">Strong understanding of engineering fundamentals and principles</li><li style="margin:0px;font-size:11pt;line-height:1.38;">Commercial acumen and results driven.</li><li style="margin:0px;font-size:11pt;line-height:1.38;">Ability to quickly build a rapport with customers.</li><li style="margin:0px;font-size:11pt;line-height:1.38;">Must be able to travel domestically or internationally (sometimes with limited notice)</li></ul>Bonus Points It would also be great (but not essential) if in addition to the above you also have:<ul style=""><li style="margin:0px;font-size:11pt;line-height:1.38;">Knowledge of Functional Safety e.g. ISO26262, IEC61508, D0178B</li><li style="margin:0px;font-size:11pt;line-height:1.38;">Knowledge of EMC, Environmental, Product Safety and Electrical test standards e.g. ISO16750, ECE R10, R100</li><li style="margin:0px;font-size:11pt;line-height:1.38;">Experience in on highway, off highway or non-road industries</li><li style="margin:0px;font-size:11pt;line-height:1.38;">Experience presenting at industry events, customer events, STEM, etc.</li></ul> Turntide Technologies is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
