Rhizome is seeking a highly organized and proactive Operations &amp; Executive Support Manager to serve as the operational backbone of our organization. As we scale, you’ll be the central hub for internal operations, ensuring that our leadership is supported, our office runs smoothly, new team members are seamlessly onboarded, and daily business operations function efficiently. Focused on the $500B resilience investment gap in the grid today, our mandate is simple: Help electric utilities proactively adapt to climate change by integrating critical climate-asset intelligence into their existing planning workflows. As the world experiences record-breaking climate-related impacts, especially related to grid failures, our platform identifies future vulnerabilities from storms, floods, extreme temperatures, and wildfire ignition risks on utility assets at high resolutions and empowers planners to optimize investment deployments that keep society safe during natural hazard events.Responsibilities<ul><li>Provide comprehensive executive support, including calendar management, meeting coordination, coordinate travel, and communication facilitation for leadership.</li><li>Manage day-to-day office operations ensuring a productive, well-equipped, and smoothly functioning workplace.</li><li>Lead onboarding processes for new employees, including coordination of training schedules, resource allocation, and integration into company culture.</li><li>Ensure all HR paperwork, access, and systems are in place for a smooth onboarding experience.</li><li>Serve as a central point of contact across departments to streamline internal processes and resolve operational challenges.</li><li>Develop, implement, and optimize office policies and procedures that enhance efficiency and support organizational goals.</li><li>Coordinate company events such as quarterly on-sites and our annual retreats. </li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>3+ years in operations, executive support, or office management roles within dynamic, high-growth environments.</li><li>Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, multitask, and anticipate the needs of leadership and teams.</li><li>Proven experience coordinating employee onboarding and working effectively with diverse teams.</li><li>Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a collaborative and resourceful approach.</li><li>Self-motivated and proactive, able to work independently while managing multiple responsibilities simultaneously.</li><li>Technical proficiency with office software suites, collaboration platforms, and a willingness to adopt AI-driven operational tools aligned with company innovation.</li></ul>We'll look extra closely at:<ul><li>Experience with onboarding tools (e.g., BambooHR, Gusto, Rippling).</li><li>Background in HR administration or employee experience.</li><li>Event planning or company culture-building experience. </li></ul>Culture and Core ValuesAt Rhizome, we lead with compassion and empathy, aiming to understand before we help.
