This is a remote position with a preference for candidates who are within the Saint Petersburg, FL or State College, PA areas. The individual hired for this position will be accountable to lead the Company’s marketing and communications initiatives including the internal and external promotion of the company’s mission, vision, products and technology across all channels. This position will be the point of contact for executing campaigns across digital, social, and traditional channels; maintaining marketing assets; planning and coordinating events, trade shows, and webinars; and managing external agencies, vendors, and media contacts. The Marketing and Communications Manager will track and report on marketing performance against KPIs, provide actionable insights, support brand positioning and thought leadership initiatives through content creation while ensuring consistency of messaging. Among other responsibilities, this position requires the knowledge, skills and ability to understand and execute the following: Sales Enablement &amp; Lead Support<ul><li>Capture marketing-generated leads, coordinate and support the sales team to maximize follow-up and conversion</li><li>Support, maintain and update promotional materials and marketing assets ensuring effective use of materials<ul><li>Materials and assets include website content, sales collateral, product guides and presentations</li></ul></li><li>Assist the VP with public relations initiatives as needed</li></ul>Internal and External Communication, Coordination &amp; Planning<ul><li>Serve as point of contact for internal and external communications<ul><li>Work closely with all company departments and external partners to execute effective communications </li><li>Coordinate PR efforts with media and other external partners</li></ul></li><li>Own the planning, coordination and execution of industry events, trade shows, webinars and other marketing-related activities<ul><li>Manage the logistics, vendors, materials and post-event follow-up to maximize impact and ROI</li></ul></li><li>Manage relationships with external agencies, freelancers and contractors to ensure high quality deliverables that are on time and aligned with our company objectives</li></ul>Market Insights and Innovation<ul><li>Conduct customer discovery and track industry trends to inform marketing initiatives</li><li>Identify tools, technologies, and opportunities to enhance marketing activities and audience engagement</li></ul>Budget<ul><li>Assist with tracking marketing expenditures and provide recommendations to the VP for resource allocation</li></ul>EDUCATION &amp; EXPERIENCE<ul><li>Minimum 5 years of direct marketing experience in the agricultural/agronomy industry </li><li>Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, Communications or related field from an accredited university or college</li><li>Experience executing marketing campaigns across digital, social and traditional channels</li><li>Proven track record planning and managing events, trade shows and webinars</li><li>Experience generating creative and original marketing collateral, presentations, and visual content that supports brand consistency</li><li>Experience coordinating and effectively working external agencies, vendors, consultants and/or media partners to achieve shared goals</li></ul>MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS&nbsp;<ul><li>Applicant must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time, continuous basis.
