Responsibilities / TasksMechanical Engineer is responsible for designs and develops industrial heating and refrigeration systems, including P&amp;IDs, mechanical layouts, and BOMs. Ensures compliance with engineering standards, supports procurement, installation, and commissioning, and provides technical guidance throughout the project lifecycle. Coordinates component delivery and fosters collaboration across teams. Duties and Responsibilities:<ul><li>Create Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&amp;IDs) for industrial heating and refrigeration systems.</li><li>Prepare detailed Bills of Materials (BOMs) for projects.</li><li>Execute the detailed design of heating and refrigeration plants in accordance with project requirements.</li><li>Ensure full compliance with divisional engineering standards, tools, and best practices.</li><li>Support installation and commissioning phases as needed.</li><li>Assist the Director of Engineering in monitoring design progress and supporting procurement activities.</li><li>Provide technical guidance and support to project engineers throughout the project lifecycle.</li><li>Oversee and track component technology from the Purchase Request (PR) phase through to on-site delivery.</li><li>Foster a collaborative and positive working environment within the HRT Engineering team and across all other department.</li></ul>Your Profile / QualificationsQualifications:<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree or above in Engineering</li><li>Specific qualification in refrigeration or heat pumps is an advantage</li><li>Other development courses and programs are of advantage</li><li>Minimum 3 years’ experience in industrial refrigeration with experience in designing, industrial refrigeration and/or heat pump solutions</li><li>Good understanding of industrial refrigeration applications and components</li><li>Working experience in an international environment is an advantage</li><li>Knowledge of modern design tools (3D CAD software)</li><li>English (Intermediate or better)</li><li>Team player</li><li>Result-oriented</li><li>Technical mind</li><li>Accuracy</li><li>Work under pressure</li><li>Timely delivery</li><li>Eager to develop knowledge</li></ul>Did we spark your interest?
