<p>We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Engineer Electrical - Dry Utilities to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In this leadership role, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, planning, and implementation of dry utility systems for infrastructure projects.</p><ul><li>Ability to manage/lead a design and approval process ,interfacing with the project team, Clients and Stakeholders</li><li>In-depth and strong understanding of Dubai/ Abu Dhabi/UAE/KSA and Qatar Authority guidelines is a must.</li><li>Lead the design from Data collection, validation, identify design gaps, Prepare Concept master plan stage to Detailed Master Plan in terms of utility corridor space proofing, ROW, coordination with wet, roads, transportation, landscape and building teams</li><li>Develop/Review of Dry utilities Master plan report, derive demand load calculations, tie in point requirements, Full understanding of dry utilities and infrastructure projects from Concept to IFC stage</li><li>Strong infrastructure engineering background with previous experience on infrastructure projects</li><li>Thorough experience in Grid stations, primary substation requirements, allocating HV corridor up to 400kV level, detailed design of substations, feeder pillars and service turrets, MV up to 33kV and above, LV networks, calculations, excellent report writing skills</li><li>Understanding of 132/220/400 KV overhead and underground lines, relocation, and protection</li><li>undefined</li><li>Strong understating of HV/MV/LV equipment, generators and power backup, traction power for rails including the medium voltage to low voltage distribution</li><li>Prepare/Review the telecommunication infrastructure Network Design including ducts, manholes</li><li>Design/Review of Street Lighting for all type of roads, ROW, Lighting Calculations, SLDs, Load</li><li>schedules, landscape lighting branch wiring etc.,</li><li>Review the technical deliverables as per local authority and town planning department requirements for each dry services</li><li>Attend Client design meetings, kick off meetings, progress meetings, workshops, prepare presentation and lead dry utilities design as front end when required, conduct internal trainings, and provide technical support to graduate and engineers</li><li>Prepare/Review Clarifications to Contractor RFIs, Review/approve any key technical submittals related to electrical works and dry utilities(if required)</li><li>Work towards digitalization skills, innovations, and improvements to manage workload</li><li>Able to manage multiple teams with diverse backgrounds on geographically and culturally diverse teams,</li><li>manage the projects with low design cost centers of the organization.</li><li>Manage/lead the team electrical engineers, Senior Engineer and CAD technicians in the project(s).</li><li>effective time management, planning, reporting to line manager in coordination with project manager and other all relevant disciplines as required.</li><li>Able to work on multiple bids and proposals and assist the team lead and disciplines lead in terms of pricing, methodology and options</li><li>Excellent knowledge and focus towards to Quality of design, review and take ownership of the deliverables produced and ensure the design safety is followed in all projects including identifying risks, mitigation, and design assumptions registers update</li><li>Design of electrical systems and dry utilities using Auto CAD Civil3D experience and skills including ProjectWise, Infraworks, Navisworks, BIM etc</li><li>Experienced in Electrical design softwares such as ETAP, Amtech, Dialux and other power system undefined</li></ul>
