We invest in our people for the long term and are committed to supporting their development at every stage of their career.The Associate Director reports directly to the Fund Controller and will join a team of professionals supporting a recently launched and growing Evergreen Fund platform, within Apollo’s Sponsor and Secondary Solutions business (“S3”), across a 1940 Act Fund, Luxembourg SICAV and a tax advantaged insurance dedicated Fund.  This individual will be tasked with the quality execution of the day-to-day core accounting responsibilities, driving improvements in processes and reporting, and engaging in problem-solving. We are seeking a talented and dedicated professional with the ability to be part of a versatile team and a strong desire to learn and develop in their career.Primary Responsibilities<ul><li>Review NAV packages prepared by the fund administrators with all the relevant supporting documentation</li><li>Analyze profit and loss and Fund performance</li><li>Review calculation of management fees &amp; incentive fees for various Fund structures</li><li>Assist with corporate and regulatory reporting requirements for a 1940 Act Fund, including N-CSR, N-PORT and N-CEN SEC filings amongst other ad hoc initiatives</li><li>Review external facing marketing materials</li><li>Assist with presentation of quarterly board reporting</li><li>Assist with annual audits and provide information for tax preparation</li><li>Ensure portfolio valuation is accurate and in accordance with the Funds’ valuation policy. Verify portfolio pricing to third-party sources</li><li>Analyze and prepare expense allocations and budgets between multiple Fund entities</li><li>Review wire transfer requests related to deal fundings and expense payments</li><li>Assist with managing short- and long-term Fund liquidity</li><li>Coordinate closely with internal counterparts in Corporate, Operations, Marketing, Tax, Legal, and front office functions</li><li>Review junior team members’ deliverables</li><li>Execute on ad-hoc special projects from senior leaders</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Experience<ul><li>CPA preferred. 6+ years of Public/Private accounting experience preferred</li><li>Closed-end registered investment company experience preferred but not required</li><li>Strong U.S. GAAP technical accounting expertise</li><li>A critical thinker with strong quantitative and analytical skills who expresses their thoughts and ideas clearly both in oral and written communications.</li><li>Ability to work well in a team environment, escalate issues as necessary, and multi-task/prioritize competing demands</li><li>A proactive and organized self-starter with a positive attitude, powerful work ethic, strong attention to detail and advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.</li><li>A change cultivator, with a strong technology background and a focus on automation</li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Excel required, experience with AI, Altyrex, Anaplan or Power BI a plus</li></ul>OUR PURPOSE AND CORE VALUESOur clients rely on our investment acumen to help secure their future.
