<div><span style="font-size:16px;">The HR Generalist position is at the front line for employee support to respond to inquiries, explain People Experience policies and processes, execute employee life cycle transactions in Workday in order to provide an excellent employee experience.  You will partner closely with the People Partners to execute talent practices. This role also works closely with partners in People Experience and across Zoox to resolve issues, drive projects and support employees.</span></div><br><br><h3>In this role, you will:</h3><ul><li>Deliver excellent front line employee support by responding to our crew’s inquiries and requests, providing guidance to crew on our company policies and procedures, and referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff. </li><li>Work closely with cross-functional HR teams to ensure the timely execution of employee transactions and assist managers with Workday Manager Self Service as needed</li><li>Execute tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs, including but not limited to: assisting People Partners with performance reviews, promotions,  compensation planning, and the employee engagement survey. </li><li>Assist with administration of company-wide human resources policies, procedures, and practices in accordance with stated corporate objectives and federal/state legal requirements</li><li>Manage the off-boarding of employees</li><li>Work with the People Partners, Recruiters, and our Immigration team to assist with immigration matters. </li><li>Document process flows internally and externally</li><li>Collect relevant HR Metrics/Data</li><li>Identify problems or areas of inefficiency and recommend suggestions for improvement where appropriate</li><li>Update any HR/People Partner related documentation on a regular basis on our internal systems to ensure we keep materials up to date</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>3+ years experience in Human Resources operations or coordination role with direct employee interaction and support </li><li>Familiarity with HR processes, practices and policies </li><li>Workday experience in offboarding, job changes</li><li>Maintaining strict confidentiality; familiarity with data protection and handling a plus</li><li>Adept in G-Suite and or Microsoft Office</li></ul><h3>In Office Policy</h3><ul><li>This role will require an on-site presence of 3 days/week in our Foster City, CA office</li></ul><br><div><b>About Zoox</b></div><div>Zoox is developing the first ground-up, fully autonomous vehicle fleet and the supporting ecosystem required to bring this technology to market.
