We strive to deliver designs that are optimized for performance, quality, reliability, and cost for high-volume manufacturing at Form Factory.We’re hiring an experienced Mechanical Engineering Manager to help lead our Cell Design group in Berkeley, CA. This team is focused on the mechanical design of our iron-air battery cell, the building block of the entire system. This role involves managing a team of engineers and coordinating build support activities at our factory in Weirton, WV. The ideal candidate is a player-coach with demonstrated experience effectively managing and growing a well-rounded engineering team. Additionally, the ideal candidate possesses expertise in designing injection molded plastic mechanical assemblies, with experience in high-volume manufacturing. We’re looking for an empathetic manager who wants to grow a team, drive product development, and lead hands-on design, prototyping, and build support work.
