Here are some of the perks and rewards:<ul><li>A competitive salary and benefits package (including but not limited to pension plan, bonus scheme, and Life Assurance) </li><li>Generous holiday entitlement, with option to ‘buy’ or ‘sell‘ </li><li>A focus on continued personal development </li><li>Paid time off work for volunteering in the community </li><li>Access to our Employee Assistance Programme which helps promote and support a healthy lifestyle </li></ul>What you’ll do: As Transport Manager, you will manage and ensure the safety, compliance, and efficiency of our transport fleet and operations, supporting business objectives and regulatory requirements.Your responsibilities will include:<ul><li>Conducting risk assessments and implementing driver training plans aligned with business targets and CPC requirements</li><li>Managing, auditing, and reviewing transport compliance systems to ensure effectiveness and adherence to operator licence requirements</li><li>Overseeing vehicle and trailer safety, roadworthiness, and statutory inspections within maintenance intervals</li><li>Championing fuel and environmental standards</li><li>Negotiating transport contracts, pricing, and service level agreements</li><li>Collaborating with procurement on supplier management including auditing existing suppliers</li><li>Demonstrating commercial awareness to improve daily running costs and support growth</li><li>Proactively reviewing transport requirements and presenting opportunities to senior management, including long-term planning of UK&amp;I vehicle requirements</li><li>Maintaining and promoting QHSE standards for the transport function</li></ul>You’ll have the following skills and experience:<ul><li>Full UK Driver’s License</li><li>International CPC Certificate</li><li>Proven experience and knowledge of transport legislation and fleet compliance</li><li>Strong leadership and communication skills</li><li>Competent in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)</li><li>LGV Driving License desirable</li><li>Understanding of international transport and customs requirements is a plus</li></ul>Find out more and apply now.Bring your energy.
