Working at Freudenberg: We will wow your world!<h1>Responsibilities:</h1>Key Responsibilities <ul><li>Manage operation of all areas within the warehouses including: Shipping process; Receiving Operations; Production Supply/interface; Traffic Coordination along with order control; Order Picking </li><li>Daily communication with Supply Chain and Production in order to achieve proper understanding of customer order requirements as well as insure product availability. </li><li>Responsible for the processes required to properly supply materials to support daily production and the accuracy of the related transactions. </li><li>Responsible for overall Finished Goods inventory process and the overall performance of the warehouse management system and related peripheral equipment as well as the accuracy of Finished Goods Inventory records.   </li></ul>Additional Responsibilities <ul><li>Responsible for programs and processes within the warehouses including: Safety; timely and Accurate supply of components/raw materials to Production Lines; On time shipping performance; Shipment scheduling/carrier selection; Order Selection Accuracy – Internal and External measurements; Housekeeping/ warehouse Organization programs; warehouse layout and order picking process; Quality/accuracy of shipments (quantity, correct product, damage control)(C/Daily); Functionality of the warehouse control system; Related reporting required to manage performance of the above programs and processes. </li><li>Monitor customer delivery performance results from outside logistics firm. </li></ul>Organization <ul><li>Directly Reports to: Supply Chain Manager </li><li>Direct Reports:  Warehouse Supervisors </li></ul>Interactions <ul><li>Internal: Production, other supply chain departments, purchasing, sales </li><li>External: 3PL, Customer Logistic Teams </li></ul><h1>Qualifications:</h1>Professional Experience and Education <ul><li>Bachelor‘s degree in related field (Logistics, Business Management) </li><li>10+ years supervision experience in shipping and warehouse  </li><li>Experience working with a systems based warehouse management system </li></ul>Specific Skills and Knowledge <ul><li>Analytical Skills </li><li>Leadership </li><li>Project Management </li><li>An understanding of transportation rates structures (various base rates, discounts, fares, cubic capacity, NMFC classifications and freight classes) </li><li>First hand exposure and involvement in management of WMS, including RF technology </li><li>Working  knowledge of SAP or similar business management system </li></ul>The Freudenberg Group is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion.
