Your mission We’re looking for a next-generation Head of Business Development (Vienna or Dublin) — a hands-on, tech-savvy leader to scale the BD team, drive AI-led innovation, and optimise top-of-funnel through modern tools and scalable programmes.  Your main tasks will be:<ul><li>Build, lead, and coach a BDR team across Vienna and Dublin, scaling the team with a focus on performance, learning, and motivation, while acting as both a strategic leader and hands-on player-coach.</li><li>Design and manage ABM, vertical-focused, and event-based outbound campaigns in close collaboration with Sales and Marketing.</li><li>Implement structured prospecting, lead qualification, and account-targeting processes, while supporting cross-functional initiatives such as US market entry.</li><li>Evaluate, implement, and manage AI tools such as Gong, ChatGPT, and LinkedIn AI, and develop AI-assisted outbound strategies optimised for conversations.</li><li>Coach the team on AI workflows, including prompting, automation, and personalisation, and partner with Marketing to integrate AI into lead scoring and ABM campaigns.</li><li>Own the top-of-funnel pipeline strategy, execution, and reporting, build dashboards, track KPIs, and ensure alignment with Sales and Marketing on ICP, messaging, and conversion.</li><li>Deliver a scalable outbound engine, a motivated AI-enabled team, and measurable, efficient programmes that consistently generate qualified pipeline.</li></ul> Your profile Must-haves:<ul><li>3–5 years in BD/SDR leadership within B2B SaaS, achieving substantial pipeline growth (e.g. 5x) by improving team efficiency and processes, rather than simply expanding headcount.</li><li>Proven success building or optimising outbound programmes and tech stacks.</li><li>Strong command of modern sales engagement platforms (HubSpot, Salesforce, Gong, Outreach, LinkedIn, etc.).</li><li>Passion for AI, automation, and productivity tools, with an early adopter mindset.</li><li>Hands-on, energetic leader who loves coaching and iterating quickly.</li><li>Comfortable operating between strategy and execution — can think like a Head of BD but also act like a Programme Manager.</li><li>Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills.</li><li>Fluent English skills, both written and spoken, are required.</li><li>Must be eligible to work in Austria or Ireland  (no sponsorship options available).</li><li>Based in, or within commuting distance from Dublin or Vienna. </li></ul> Bonus points for:<ul><li>Experience and knowledge in supply chain monitoring, ESG, sustainability, or risk management—areas core to Prewave’s business.</li><li>Additional language skills, e.g. French, Spanish, Dutch etc.</li></ul> What we offer you Competitive Compensation and Benefits: The minimum gross monthly salary according to the IT collective agreement is EUR 4,485.
