Job Description<ul><li>Finance lead for HRS &amp; Office Services teams.</li><li>Lead and execute month-end close activities including journal entries, accruals, and cost centre reporting.</li><li>Prepare variance analysis and commentary comparing actuals to budget and forecast</li><li>Present financial results and insights to business groups, ensuring clarity and alignment with operational goals.</li><li>Collaborate with stakeholders to develop monthly financial forecasts and support the annual budgeting process for both expense and capital planning.</li><li>Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), highlight trends and changes monthly.</li><li>Support the Biannual allocation model process.</li><li>Responsible for preparing intercompany billings and month end intercompany journal entries.</li><li>Respond to financial requests from senior management and perform additional duties as required.</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Requirements:<ul><li>Three to Four (3-4) years of progressive work experience</li><li>Strong financial systems experience, including advanced Excel skills.</li><li>Leadership and interpersonal skills, and the willingness to always support the team.</li><li>Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.</li><li>Able to translate financial terms into business vocabulary.</li><li>Highly organized and able to work in a dynamic, complex, and fast-paced environment, as well as adapt quickly to manage changing priorities and deadlines.</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills</li><li>Self-motivated and proactive, with respect to both managing workload and professional development.</li><li>Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics is an asset.</li></ul>Brookfield is committed to maintaining a Positive Work Environment that is safe and respectful; our shared success depends on it.  Accordingly, we do not tolerate workplace discrimination, violence or harassment.Brookfield is committed to creating an accessible and inclusive organization.
