This role will primarily collaborate with Design, Stress, Systems, Safety, and Certification teams.</span></div><br><br><h3>How you will contribute to revolutionizing electric aviation: </h3><ul><li>Develop and Maintain 2D &amp; 3D Datasets in a controlled PLM Environment using Catia V6.</li><li>Perform hand calculations and FEA to ensure product integrity at minimum weight.</li><li>Develop and build prototypes, perform initial analyses, and document results to inform design.</li><li>Design products for certification based on requirements and accepted means of compliance.</li><li>Create supporting documentation for certification deliverables.</li><li>Collaborate with internal and external manufacturing resources to minimize cost and improve manufacturability.</li></ul><h3>Minimum Qualifications: </h3><ul><li>Minimum 5-10 years of experience.</li><li>Demonstrated experience in mechanical design on FAA Certification Programs.</li><li>Ability to perform hand calculations and Finite Element Analysis.</li><li>Proficiency in 3D CAD software (Catia V6 preferred).</li><li>Communication and leadership skills required. </li><li>Self-starter that is organized, and a team player.</li></ul><h3>Above and Beyond Qualifications:</h3><ul><li>Experience working in production environments, real-time problem solving, and improving products based on production findings.</li><li>Hands-on manufacturing experience in both metallic and composite assemblies.</li><li>Experience with injection molding design &amp; manufacturing processes.</li><li>Demonstrated knowledge of FAA certification process and deliverables.</li></ul><h3>Physical Demands and Work Environment:</h3><ul><li>The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
