You will define test strategies, author and manage test plans and procedures, drive traceability to requirements, and lead test execution across models, software-, hardware-, and system-level environments through to flight test.</span></div><br><br><h3>How you will contribute to revolutionizing electric aviation: </h3><ul><li>Lead test strategy and planning for flight control systems across development phases and test environments (MiL/SiL/HiL, bench, iron bird/system rig, and flight test support)</li><li>Author, review, and maintain verification artifacts: test plans, procedures, cases, scripts, reports, and coverage analyses</li><li>Ensure full requirements traceability and verification closure; manage test readiness and entry/exit criteria</li><li>Coordinate and schedule test campaigns; manage configuration, baselines, and change control for test assets</li><li>Develop automated and manual tests; define data collection, analysis, and pass/fail criteria</li><li>Drive issue triage, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions with Controls, Software, Systems, and Avionics teams</li><li>Contribute to safety- and certification-aligned verification approaches (e.g., requirements-based testing, independence, coverage)</li><li>Present verification status, risks, and mitigations to engineering leadership and stakeholders</li></ul><h3>Minimum Qualifications:</h3><ul><li>Proven experience leading verification efforts for flight control or safety-critical control systems</li><li>Strong background in test planning and authoring test plans, procedures, and reports</li><li>Hands-on experience executing tests in HiL/SiL/rig environments and translating results </li><li>Solid grasp of requirements management and traceability through verification closure </li><li>Working knowledge of configuration management, defect tracking, and test data analysis </li><li>Familiarity with relevant aerospace/system safety standards and practices (e.g., ARP4754/ARP4761, DO-178, DO-254, DO-160) or similar safety-critical domains </li><li>Proficiency with scripting or test automation (e.g., Python, MATLAB/Simulink) and common data analysis workflows </li><li>Excellent communication skills and the ability to lead cross-functional test efforts in a fast-paced environment </li><li>Bachelor's degree in engineering (Aerospace, Electrical, Systems, or related) or equivalent experience</li></ul><h3>Above and Beyond Qualifications:</h3><ul><li>Experience with Polarion ALM for requirements and test management </li><li>Experience with Speedgoat HiL, NI/VeriStand/LabVIEW, or similar test platforms </li><li>Knowledge of CI/CD for test automation and regressions (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) </li><li>Experience supporting flight test instrumentation, procedures, and data review</li></ul><h3>Physical Demands and Work Environment:</h3><ul><li>Based in South Burlington, VT; on-site presence required to support labs, rigs, and integrated testing.
