Join us.What you’ll doThe GSM will support sourcing, supplier management, and purchasing activities across direct and indirect categories. This role is both tactical and analytical: managing day-to-day procurement while researching markets, evaluating suppliers, and contributing to sourcing strategies that enable Niron’s growth from pilot scale to commercial manufacturing.Operational Procurement<ul><li>Manage purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and day-to-day supplier communications.</li><li>Lead RFQ processes, evaluate proposals, and compare vendor offers.</li><li>Negotiate pricing, lead times, and terms for assigned materials and services.</li><li>Ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods to support production and projects.</li></ul>Supplier and Market Analysis<ul><li>Research supplier markets and pricing trends for key commodities and services.</li><li>Assist with supplier onboarding, qualification, and compliance tracking.</li><li>Monitor supplier performance (cost, quality, delivery) and recommend improvements.</li><li>Partner with cross-functional teams to align suppliers with engineering and operations needs.</li></ul>Process and Systems Development<ul><li>Maintain procurement data in internal systems to support reporting, planning, and audits.</li><li>Help standardize procurement processes, templates, and tools for scalability.</li><li>Identify gaps and opportunities for cost reduction, supplier optimization, and continuous improvement.</li></ul>What We’re Looking For<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).</li><li>7-10+ years of procurement or supply chain experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.</li><li>Experience sourcing direct materials</li><li>Strong analytical skills with ability to evaluate supplier proposals, cost drivers, and market trends.</li><li>Strong negotiation and communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.</li><li>ERP/MRP experience</li><li>Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable in a fast-paced, scaling environment.</li></ul>Nice to Have<ul><li>Experience in a start-up or high-growth manufacturing environment.</li><li>Familiarity with industrial equipment or advanced materials categories.</li><li>Exposure to cost analysis and supplier performance management.</li></ul>Our Pay and Benefits<ul><li>Salary range: $95,000 - 135,000 based on experience, skills, and education</li><li>Equity position in Niron via stock option grant</li><li>Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance</li><li>Mental healthcare</li><li>401k plan with company match</li><li>Paid vacation, sick time, and holidays</li><li>Experience in a fun, high-performing, manufacturing environment</li></ul>
