Why Hubject We develop ideas and deliver solutions for the eMobility market We are working on the most important growth topics We are an international team of very motivated eMobility enthusiasts AND We have over 30 benefits different categories: <ul><li>Food &amp; drinks (food subsidy on the Euref-Campus restaurants)</li><li>Mobility (BVG subsidy)</li><li>Health &amp; sports (Urban sports membership M)</li><li>Equipment (Laptop etc)</li><li>Learning and development (yearly training budget and Udemy learning platform access)</li><li>Hubject Lifestyle (Voiio membership)</li><li>Family-friendly environment (flex working time)</li></ul> Your Tasks <ul><li>Collaborate with Product and Software Development teams to understand product requirements and user stories.</li><li>Design, write, and execute manual and automated UI and API test cases to identify defects and validate product functionality.</li><li>Develop and continuously improve automated testing solutions for both UI and API (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, TestCafe, Karate, RestAssured).</li><li>Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and monitor their performance.</li><li>Track, document, and communicate test results, defects, and quality metrics to relevant stakeholders.</li><li>Drive QA best practices and foster a quality-first mindset in the cross-functional team.</li></ul> Your Profile <ul><li>Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Media Informatics, or a related field.</li><li>5+ years of hands-on QA experience as a QA Engineer, ideally within an agile software development environment and in complex API-based (e.g., SaaS, fintech, IoT, or eMobility).</li><li>Experience with Java, JavaScript and/or TypeScript.</li><li>Proven experience with UI test automation (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, TestCafe).</li><li>Strong hands-on experience with API test automation (e.g., Karate, RestAssured).</li><li>Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub, or similar) and version control (Git), including integrating automated tests into the build process.</li><li>Strong foundation in integration testing within complex distributed systems.</li></ul>Soft Skills <ul><li>Analytical mindset and a curiosity for how things connect - whether that's APIs, data flows, or end-to-end partner exchanges.</li><li>Able to work independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional environment.</li><li>Confidence communicating with Product, Engineering, and external stakeholders to align on priorities and risk.</li><li>Experience with electric vehicle roaming protocols (OICP / OCPI) and other eMobility standards is a plus.</li></ul> Language Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal).
