<div>We are seeking a driven and experienced Construction Manager to lead on-site execution of commercial and civil construction projects from mobilization through closeout. Working under the guidance of the Director of Field Operations, this role is responsible for managing daily field operations, coordinating subcontractors, maintaining safety and quality standards, and ensuring successful project delivery. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in civil construction, hands-on experience managing field crews and subcontractors, and a passion for delivering high-quality work in dynamic environments. Experience with renewable energy projects—such as solar, BESS, or EV infrastructure—is highly preferred.  Key Responsibilities Field Execution &amp; Supervision <ul><li>Oversee all day-to-day on-site construction activities to ensure timely and quality execution. </li></ul><ul><li>Supervise field crews and subcontractors to maintain progress in line with project schedules. </li></ul><ul><li>Maintain strong site presence to monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and promote accountability. </li></ul><ul><li>Ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, safety protocols, and company standards. </li></ul>Subcontractor Coordination <ul><li>Lead daily coordination with subcontractors across all trades to ensure seamless workflow. </li></ul><ul><li>Participate in pre-construction meetings, daily huddles, and look-ahead planning. </li></ul><ul><li>Monitor subcontractor progress against schedules and proactively address any delays or issues. </li></ul>Schedule &amp; Planning <ul><li>Support the development and execution of short-term and long-term schedules. </li></ul><ul><li>Track and report daily progress, flag potential delays, and assist in recovery planning. </li></ul><ul><li>Collaborate with the project team to align field efforts with overall project milestones. </li></ul>Safety &amp; Quality Control <ul><li>Enforce site-specific safety plans and ensure all workers follow OSHA and company safety policies. </li></ul><ul><li>Conduct regular safety and quality inspections, documenting and correcting deficiencies as needed. </li></ul><ul><li>Promote a jobsite culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement. </li></ul>Project Documentation &amp; Communication <ul><li>Maintain accurate daily reports, field logs, and subcontractor records. </li></ul><ul><li>Communicate regularly with the Director of Field Operations and Project Management teams. </li></ul><ul><li>Assist with inspections, RFI responses, punch lists, and project closeout documentation. </li></ul> Qualifications <ul><li>5+ years of experience in commercial or civil construction, with increasing responsibility in field roles. </li></ul><ul><li>Proven ability to manage subcontractors and field crews on active construction sites. </li></ul><ul><li>Strong knowledge of civil scopes such as earthwork, concrete, utilities, and underground infrastructure. </li></ul><ul><li>Preferred experience in renewable energy construction (solar, BESS, EV infrastructure). </li></ul><ul><li>Working knowledge of construction scheduling (Primavera P6 or similar tools). </li></ul><ul><li>Proficient in Procore, Microsoft Office, and construction documentation practices. </li></ul><ul><li>OSHA 30 certification required; First Aid/CPR preferred. </li></ul><ul><li>Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills. </li></ul><ul><li>Willingness to travel and work on active project sites. </li></ul> Success Traits <ul><li>Field-oriented leader who thrives in fast-paced, hands-on environments. </li></ul><ul><li>Organized, proactive, and solutions-driven with strong attention to detail. </li></ul><ul><li>Committed to safety, quality, and efficient project delivery. </li></ul><ul><li>Team player who collaborates effectively with field staff, project management, and subcontractors </li></ul></div>
