In this role, you’ll take ownership of designing and optimizing the visual perception systems that power our autonomous robotic beehives. Our team of engineers and innovators is shaping the future of sustainable agriculture — using technology for good.If you’re passionate about computer vision, robotics, and AI, and want to make a tangible impact on the planet, we’d love to have you on board.What You’ll Do?<ul><li>Translating raw visual data in a Multiview setup into precise 3D positioning for robotic movements</li><li>Fusion of vision data with other types of sensors</li><li>Using/Developing both deep learning models and classic algorithmic techniques</li><li>Testing your solutions in real-world systems and refining for accuracy and robustness</li></ul>Requirements:<ul><li>M.Sc. (or higher) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Autonomous Systems and Robotics Interdisciplinary Program </li><li>At least 3 years of experience in 3D perception using cameras, e.g. visual servoing, 3D reconstruction and stereo vision. </li><li>Strong proficiency in classical computer vision techniques (e.g., feature detection &amp; matching, geometric transformations)</li></ul>Advantages:<ul><li>Experience with designing and implementing  control loops </li><li>Experience with simulation tools (Issac sim / Gazebo) </li><li>Experience applying deep learning models to vision or perception data</li></ul>

We must never forget that the traditional hives most commonly used in the world today (Langstroth box) were designed by us, humans, about 150 years ago. Most people are so used to them that we mistakenly confuse them with bees' natural habitat. That is far from being the case. By completely redesigning the beehive we were able to address a lot of the inefficiencies of the commonly used hives and significantly improve bees&rsquo; well-being and life longevity. For us, bees come first; our customers come second; and then all the rest.</div>
