This is the group’s first-time hire into this role. The role will be responsible for putting in place global employment tax policies and processes, in collaboration with the Global Mobility function, as well as leading employment tax advisory and compliance (including UK PSA, STBV and IR35). </div><div>The role sits within the Group Tax function within Finance, and is expected to work closely across HR, Global Mobility and Payroll functions.    </div><div>Role Responsibilities </div><div><ul><li>Provision of timely and practical employment tax advice across the group. </li><li>Assessment  of tax risks arising from cross-border working arrangements, from assignments, to remote work and permanent transfers.  </li><li>Development, implementation and oversight of tax policies within the global mobility framework, in collaboration with the Global Mobility team, ensuring tax risks and costs are identified. </li><li>In collaboration with the Global Mobility Lead, work with our expat tax advisor to resolve issues relating to employment tax matters. </li><li>Preparation of employment tax returns, including UK PSA and STBV, and oversight of other global employment tax compliance matters such as IR35.  </li></ul></div></div><div><div> </div><div>Experience / Competences </div><div> </div><div>Essential </div><div><ul><li>Strong technical knowledge and experience of employment and global mobility taxes, and good awareness of interactions between employer obligations vs personal tax implications. </li><li>Insights on international assignment policies, compliance and controls.  </li><li>Skilled in Microsoft applications software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook etc). </li><li>ACA, ACCA, ATT or CTA qualified.   </li><li>Strong organisational and interpersonal skills, service oriented, adaptable and resilient. </li><li>Excellent written and oral communication skills.  </li><li>Results oriented with personal accountability, and great team player. </li><li>Excellent attention to detail, quality and control. </li><li>Ability to successfully manage multiple tasks, ensuring quality and meeting deadlines. </li><li>Conscientious, self-motivated, able to work with minimal supervision and goal orientated.  </li><li>Ability to develop new skills and understand new technology as required. </li></ul></div><div> Desired </div><div><ul><li>Financial services experience, working across multiple territories </li></ul></div><div> </div></div><div> Role Band &amp; Level:  Manager, 7</div>#LI-MID #LI-HybridNot The Perfect Fit?Concerned that you may not meet the criteria precisely?
