Join us in shaping the future of energy.</p><p></p><p><b>Job Summary:</b></p><p>Reporting to the Quality lead, the Assistant Electrical Quality Inspector is responsible for assisting the Electrical Quality Inspector with the quality control management and Electrical works acceptance of large scale, solar and battery storage projects. <span>Responsibilities include conducting routine inspections to ensure code, testing, and material compliance of services and products adhere to the standard of Repsol’s Quality Management System</span> of solar projects as assigned by the Construction Manager, Project Manager, Electrical Quality Inspector, and others as needed.</p><p></p><p><b>Responsibilities/Duties:</b></p><ul><li>Follow the QA/QC management system at sites.</li><li><span>Ensure adherence to health and safety guidelines.</span></li><li><span>Use QA/QC computer programs to document quality records.</span></li><li>Witness all aspects of Electrical installation activities with minimum supervision.</li><li>Ensure Electrical ITP stages are followed and complied.</li><li>Assist with review of IFCs and overall accuracy.</li><li>Monitor Electrical operations and conduct required inspections of work to resolve quality related issues with workers and subcontractors.</li><li>Verify that all site activities comply with the quality codes and standards.</li><li>Provide appropriate feedback to management regarding QA/QC matters.</li><li>Assist with development of inspection and test programs.</li><li>Coordinate quality site inspections with all subcontractors and vendors.</li><li>Monitor the implementation of the approved site QC plan.</li><li>Inspect / review product material and testing to ensure compliance with code, standards, specifications and QCM.</li><li>Identify and control all NCR's while correcting with remedial action.</li><li>Witness cable terminations and ensure installation is to engineering specifications.</li><li>Witness density testing and ensure that daily testing documentation is in order.</li><li>Ensure all quality control documentation is compiled and completed in a timely matter meeting project deadline.</li><li>Ensure timely completion of paperwork and turnover documents are in order.</li><li>Inspect remediation processes for any Electrical design changes.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Minimum Qualifications: </b></p><ul><li>Legally authorized to work in the US for any employer.</li><li>Valid US Driver's License.</li><li>OSHA 10 Certification.</li><li>Previous experience working with Geotech reports and density testing.</li><li>Minimum of 2 years construction experience on energy related projects.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Preferred Qualifications: </b></p><ul><li>Working knowledge of quality control.</li><li>Valid US Driver’s License</li><li>OSHA 10 Certification.</li><li>Working knowledge of electrical principles including installation of electrical components that relate to AC/DC collection and distribution</li><li>Previous experience with PV Plant construction, Wind farm construction, Substation Construction.</li><li>Understanding and awareness of site safety requirements by OSHA.</li><li>An ability to quickly get across the detail, when required, to develop understanding on issues.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Behavioral requirements:</b></p><ul><li>Good organizational and time-management skills.</li><li>Good written and verbal communication skills.</li><li>Good reporting and analysis skills.</li><li>High attention to detail and strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.</li><li>Ability to work productively with and without limited supervision.</li><li>Strong interest in renewable energy.</li><li>Ability to work extended hours, if needed.</li><li>Exemplary standards of integrity, honor, safety, management, ethics, quality, and productivity.</li><li>Exhibit behaviors consistent with strong leadership and accountability.</li><li>Continuous learner and self-developer.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Working Conditions:</b></p><ul><li>Minimum of 95% on project sites with minimal time in the Repsol Houston office</li><li>6 weeks home visits.</li></ul><p></p><p><b><span>Repsol is an Equal Opportunity Employer M/F/Disability/Veteran</span></b></p><p style="text-align:inherit;"></p><p style="text-align:inherit;"></p><p style="text-align:inherit;"></p>
