A JOB THAT INSPIRES YOU Join a high-impact team delivering civil engineering solutions for substations in the power transmission sector. You will lead or support the on-site delivery and technical coordination of civil works for 66/132/220/400 kV substations and associated balance-of-plant. This role gives you responsibility from tender and design review through construction, commissioning, and handover — work that directly enables safe, reliable power for communities and industry. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES <ul><li style="font-size:14px;font-family:Arial , Helvetica , sans-serif;">Serve as Resident Engineer (RE) or Assistant Resident Engineer (ARE) for substation civil works on EPC / owner-led projects.</li><li style="font-size:14px;font-family:Arial , Helvetica , sans-serif;">Supervise and inspect civil construction: earthworks, foundations, plinths, cable trenches and ducts, drainage, access roads, retaining structures, and hardstandings.</li><li style="font-size:14px;font-family:Arial , Helvetica , sans-serif;">Review and coordinate civil drawings, IFC documents, and shop drawings with design, geotechnical, and electrical teams.</li><li style="font-size:14px;font-family:Arial , Helvetica , sans-serif;">Monitor contractor performance, quality control, testing, and commissioning of civil components; enforce health, safety, and environmental requirements.</li><li style="font-size:14px;font-family:Arial , Helvetica , sans-serif;">Administer site documentation: RFIs, NCRs, site instructions, progress reports, as-built records, and daily logs.</li><li style="font-size:14px;font-family:Arial , Helvetica , sans-serif;">Support material acceptance, construction methodology, and soil management plans; liaise with surveyors and geotechnical consultants.</li><li style="font-size:14px;font-family:Arial , Helvetica , sans-serif;">Assist in cost control, progress claims evaluation, and schedule tracking.</li><li style="font-size:14px;font-family:Arial , Helvetica , sans-serif;">Contribute to continuous improvement, lessons learned, and value engineering initiatives.</li></ul> A BACKGROUND THAT CONVINCES US <ul><li style="font-family:Arial , Helvetica , sans-serif;font-size:14px;">Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
