The Procurement Specialist is responsible for sourcing goods and services, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely and cost-effective purchasing to support organizational operations. This role plays a key part in optimizing supply chain efficiency, maintaining vendor relationships, and ensuring compliance with procurement policies.Responsibilities:<ul><li>Identify procurement needs across departments.</li><li>Conduct market research to find reliable suppliers and compare offers.</li><li>Negotiate contracts and terms with vendors to secure favorable pricing and delivery schedules.</li><li>Prepare and process purchase orders and requisitions.</li><li>Monitor inventory levels and restock as needed.</li><li>Ensure all procured items meet quality and specification standards.</li><li>Track procurement KPIs and generate performance reports.</li><li>Maintain and update procurement records and documentation.</li><li>Resolve supplier issues, including delivery delays and product discrepancies.</li><li>Collaborate with finance, legal, and operations teams to align procurement with company goals.</li><li>Implement risk management strategies for supply contracts.</li><li>Stay informed on market trends and pricing dynamics.</li></ul>
