Your expertise will be instrumental in keeping our operations smooth and efficient.YOUR IMPACT<ul><li>Provide Engineering support to Plants by answering questions, helping with troubleshooting issues, addressing design errors, etc. </li><li>Help plant quality personnel with CSE (Customer Support Engineering) project creation. </li><li>Work with plant ME/IE personnel to answer questions related to future/current CN Releases. </li><li>Research, study, and propose modifications/fixes to current products to solve issues uncovered in the plants.</li><li>Maintain effective communication with suppliers, internal and external customers, and outside resources concerning technical issues. </li><li>Enforce the proper use of engineering criteria and drawing standards.  Ensure that technical issues are conducted within the framework of company policies and procedures. </li><li>Evaluate designs for performance, safety, and reliability. </li><li>Directs preparation of layouts, drawings, specifications, and bills of material </li><li>Perform engineering analysis to support the selection of parts, components, and materials that meet requirements </li><li>Perform job duties in an ethical, professional manner which is consistent with the Oshkosh Way. </li><li>Conduct duties consistent with the Company’s mission statement, quality objectives, and defined policies and procedures </li><li>Provide technical assistance for prototype and pilot builds in the plants. </li><li>Analyze and resolve issues reported to Engineering via verbal or written communication </li><li>Provide direction to designers and drafters regarding engineering analysis.</li></ul>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:   <ul><li>Associate degree or equivalent* with four (4) years of experience in drafting/design.</li></ul>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: <ul><li>Associate degree or equivalent* with five (5) years of experience in drafting/design.</li><li>Verbal and written communication skills.</li><li>Ability to adapt to a fast pace environment.</li><li>Detail oriented.</li><li>Capable of using standard Windows Office tools including SharePoint, email, and CAD tools.</li><li>Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.</li></ul>*Note: equivalent equates approximately four (4) years of on the job experience to one (1) year of formal education. #LI-AG1Pay Range:$56,600.00 - $88,400.00The above pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target pay for the position across all U.S. locations.
