Founded in 2019, we’re delivering low-cost and large-scale energy storage and producing battery materials in the U.S. for the first time, all from batteries we already have.</div></div></div></div></div></div>The Instrumentation Technician is responsible for supporting the day-to-day verification, calibration, and repair of instrumentation across the Redwood Materials Battery Materials Campus  in McCarran, Nevada. The role is responsible for the performance of verifications, calibrations, associated support tasks, and effective record keeping related to calibrations to support ISO certification. This role will support production lines, analytical labs, pilot plants, and general services departments. Relocation assistance available depending on level and experience.Responsibilities will include:<ul><li style="font-family:helvetica , arial , sans-serif;font-size:12pt;">Develop and document methods to troubleshoot and test various devices including gas analyzers, scales, pressure sensors, flow meters, temperature sensors, particulate meters, scales, and other production critical instrumentation.</li><li style="font-family:helvetica , arial , sans-serif;font-size:12pt;">Perform instrument verifications and calibrations in production environments to be documented for record keeping and compliance with regulatory requirements and applicable standards where applicable (IATF16949, ISO9001, ISO17025, etc.).</li><li style="font-family:helvetica , arial , sans-serif;font-size:12pt;">Learn new devices and how to test and evaluate the functionality of the devices.</li><li style="font-family:helvetica , arial , sans-serif;font-size:12pt;">Read technical manuals and understand specifications of various devices and how they are applied.</li></ul>Desired Qualifications:<ul><li style="font-family:helvetica , arial , sans-serif;font-size:12pt;">Certification/degree in Instrumentation Technology or Electrical Systems Technology, or relevant experience in a related position</li><li style="font-family:helvetica , arial , sans-serif;font-size:12pt;">Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers</li><li style="font-family:helvetica , arial , sans-serif;font-size:12pt;">Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel, and Outlook)</li><li style="font-family:helvetica , arial , sans-serif;font-size:12pt;">Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service</li><li style="font-family:helvetica , arial , sans-serif;font-size:12pt;">Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices</li></ul>Shifts:A Shift: 6:00 am - 6:00 pm Sunday-Tuesday (every other Wednesday) C Shift: 6:00 am - 6:00 pm Thursday - Saturday (every other Wednesday)Physical Requirements:<ul><li style="font-family:helvetica , arial , sans-serif;font-size:12pt;">Ability to work with Tyvek suits, Powered Air Purifying Respirator (PAPR), and other personal protective equipment (PPE)  </li><li style="font-family:helvetica , arial , sans-serif;font-size:12pt;">Comfortable working in confined spaces and at elevated heights, including safely climbing ladders to access work areas.</li><li style="font-family:helvetica , arial , sans-serif;font-size:12pt;">Essential physical requirements, such as climbing, standing, stooping, or typing.   </li><li style="font-family:helvetica , arial , sans-serif;font-size:12pt;">Ability to operate and train on equipment such as boom lifts, scissor lifts, and other specialized machinery   </li><li style="font-family:helvetica , arial , sans-serif;font-size:12pt;">Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.  </li></ul>Working Conditions:Work performed in varied indoor and outdoor environments with exposure to hazardous materials and challenging conditions (noise, dust, chemicals, temperature extremes) while wearing required PPE for extended periods. <div>The position is full-time.
