As a Backend Engineer on the team you’ll be responsible for:<ul style=""><li>Shaping the product architecture and playing an active role in the design process</li><li>Building, maintaining and up scaling the company data pipeline.</li><li>Maintain and develop our cloud platform.</li><li>Building web and mobile applications that work both on-line and off-line</li><li>Building and designing company data warehouse and DBs and the relationships between them</li><li>Owning end-to-end major components and codebases</li><li>Making additional contributions to other Earth Force products</li><li>Helping onboard and ramp up additional team members</li></ul>Required qualifications:<ul style=""><li>BA in Computer Science/Software Engineering or equivalent</li><li>5+ years as a backend engineer using Python</li><li>Demonstrable experience working on projects involving multiple DBs and microservices architecture in a Cloud environment (AWS/Azure/GCP)</li><li>Strong DevOps skills. Be able to independently install, configure and maintain different system components on bare-metal Linux machines / self managed K8S clusters.</li><li>2+ years experience in cloud platform management using terraform (or equivalent) and in managing security, storage and compute in cloud environments</li><li>2+ years working with Kubernetes, Docker and CI/CD tools</li><li>Experience with system monitoring and alerting tools</li><li>High level verbal and written proficiency in English</li></ul>
