<p>We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Material Engineer to join our team in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. As a Material Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that all materials used in our projects comply with specifications and meet the approval of relevant authorities. This position requires a professional with strong analytical skills and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of quality and efficiency.</p><ul><li>Review and approve contractors' proposed materials and methods, as delegated by the Resident Engineer</li><li>Prepare comprehensive Material Engineer's Daily Diaries to document project progress and material usage</li><li>Oversee contractors' daily activities, including work assignments and on-site performance</li><li>Conduct factory visits and supplier plant inspections as required</li><li>Manage testing processes and secure approvals from relevant authorities</li><li>Review and approve contractors' testing requests and completed reports</li><li>Monitor material delivery performance and accuracy of materials used on-site</li><li>Coordinate with contractors' supervisory personnel regarding schedule, sequence, and work methods</li><li>Perform continuous field inspections of work in progress and consult with both Resident Engineer's and contractors' supervisory staff</li><li>Prepare written and oral reports for the Resident Engineer on contractual and procedural matters</li><li>Ensure compliance with local regulations and industry standards in Abu Dhabi and the UAE</li><li>Travel to various project sites within the UAE as needed</li></ul>
