AECOM has positions available for a Community Engagement Specialist to serve the Club Ride Event Squad in Las Vegas, Nevada.  This is a casual part-time position which will be eligible to work up to19 hours per week.JOB SUMMARYAs a member of the Club Ride Event Squad, you will be responsible for staffing Club Ride events and presentations at locations across Clark County. Club Ride is a program of the Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada (RTC) that works with the business community, regional stakeholders and residents to reduce traffic congestion and travel emissions in Southern Nevada. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES<ul><li>Conduct onsite events, promotions and marketing activities at partner sites to promote alternative mode use and register employees for Club Ride programs and services</li><li>Communicate with community and partners in English and Spanish</li><li>Effectively communicate persuasively with individuals to influence, motivate, and inform travelers in the use of travel options</li><li>Maintain a solid understanding of the Club Ride program to answer program and service-related questions accurately and professionally</li><li>Execute prescheduled community outreach events in Clark County</li><li>Engaged with individuals directly to promote the Club Ride program positively resulting in increased program demand</li><li>Discuss program and service options that are best suited to address the publics’ needs and positively impact the community</li><li>Present information on programs and services through events and presentations at employer and public sites (e.g., carpool, pre-tax transit benefits, compressed work weeks, bicycle programs, commute incentives, pedestrian safety, transit trip scheduling)</li><li>Increase participation rates and program awareness among employees at partner locations</li><li>Serve as a transportation resource for worksite partners and organizations throughout Clark County</li><li>Guide individuals through the enrollment process</li><li>Communicate and provide support to existing members</li><li>Gain a comprehensive understanding of Club Ride’s mission, target audience, and promotional techniques</li><li>Attend staff meetings and training to maintain a comprehensive knowledge of our program and improve outreach skills</li><li>Adhere to our company policies and demonstrate an understanding of our core leadership values</li><li>Engage with the public in a friendly and respectful manner</li><li>Exceed monthly performance metrics</li><li>Track employer relationships and activities over time, by utilizing SalesForce.com, Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Excel</li></ul>
