We are looking for a Senior Hydro-Mechanical Engineer with in-depth experience in the design, selection, and integration of heavy rotating equipment—specifically hydro turbines , pump-turbines and large pumps—for hydropower and pumped storage projects. This role focuses on performance, reliability, and operability of mechanical systems in high-energy environments. Key Responsibilities: <ul><li>Provide technical leadership on turbine and pump selection (Francis, Pelton, Kaplan, reversible pump-turbines) </li></ul><ul><li>Evaluate hydraulic-mechanical performance and operating ranges </li></ul><ul><li>Support transient stability analysis in coordination with hydraulic and electrical teams </li></ul><ul><li>Oversee vendor engagement, specification development, and interface coordination </li></ul><ul><li>Support installation planning, commissioning, and troubleshooting of rotating equipment </li></ul><ul><li>Review vibration, thermal, and mechanical design calculations from OEMs </li></ul>
