We are looking for a technically focused engineer with experience in hydraulic modelling and computational fluid dynamics (CFD) for complex hydraulic systems, particularly for hydropower and pumped storage applications. The role focuses on understanding energy losses, transient flow regimes, and water level impacts using tools like ECRAS and Flow3D. Key Responsibilities: <ul><li>Conduct CFD modelling of hydraulic structures (intakes, tunnels, surge chambers, etc.) </li></ul><ul><li>Analyse energy dissipation, head losses, and flow transitions across operating modes </li></ul><ul><li>Model head/tailwater level interactions during generation and pumping cycles </li></ul><ul><li>Support physical modelling teams with numerical pre-analysis and post-validation </li></ul><ul><li>Optimise hydraulic performance through scenario testing and flow tuning </li></ul><ul><li>Produce high-quality technical outputs, visualisations, and reporting </li></ul>
