Complete record keeping associated with inspections and environmental documents. Perform the role safely and can wear all required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment). Responsibilities • Understand and practice Trojan Battery Quality Policies • Operate various cleaning equipment (Nilfisk Vacuum, hydro-retriever, sweepers, etc.) • Perform preventive maintenance on cleaning equipment, under supervision • Perform light maintenance duties: paint walls and doors, carpentry, light repairs, and replacing lights in any and all areas • Collect coveralls and towels for pickup by cleaning service • Operate cardboard compactor machine • Follow and maintain good housekeeping and hygiene practices • Available for various shifts, and overtime • Understand specifications and labels associated with hazardous material Basic Qualifications • High School Diploma, GED, or greater • Read, write, and speak basic English • Ability to work in a lead acid battery manufacturing plant • Ability to lift 50 poundsif you like wild growth and working with happy, enthusiastic over-achievers, you'll enjoy your career with us!
