You will establish and maintain production management and industrial engineering (IE) systems – including production scheduling, strategic planning, capacity modeling and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).</p><p><strong>You Will:</strong></p><ul><li>Perform Time studies using MODAPTS, Line Balance , VA-NVA Analysis , Man- Machine charts , Overall Equipment effectiveness</li><li>Collaborate with operations, management, and stakeholder teams to optimize staffing and maximize operational efficiency</li><li>Assess current labor productivity and performance metrics, analyze workforce data, and forecast labor needs based on operational demands</li><li>Develop and implement labor plans that align with operational goals and budget constraints</li><li>Lead continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing functions to enhance safety, quality, delivery, cost, and growth</li><li>Improve operational efficiency of factory equipment resulting in improved cycle-time and/or increased productivity.</li><li>Improve labor productivity through the development/deployment of best-known methods and Lean Manufacturing principles.</li><li>Create detailed Manufacturing Instructions to document new processes</li><li>Utilize analytical skills to identify root cause and evaluate the effectiveness of corrective actions for a variety of factory issues.</li><li>Evaluate workstations for Ergonomics, Safety and Efficiency</li></ul><p><strong>You Bring:</strong></p><ul><li>Degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent experience</li><li>2+ years of industrial, manufacturing, or mechanical engineering experience in Automotive General Assembly or closely related field</li><li>Industrial cost control/reporting/analysis experience in high volume manufacturing environments</li><li>Advanced-level MS Office skills (primarily Excel )</li><li>Experience in time/motion study analysis (MODAPTS preferred), continuous improvement (6 sigma techniques, lean manufacturing), and change management</li><li>Experience with any/all of the following: simulation modeling software (FlexSim),</li><li>Data visualization software (Tableau,)</li><li>Experience with layouts in AutoCAD</li><li>Familiarity with automated manufacturing equipment</li><li>Exemplary verbal and written communication skills</li></ul><p> </p><div><div><p><strong>Additional Compensation and Benefits</strong>: Lucid offers a wide range of competitive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, vacation, and 401k.
