Renaissance Fusion (RF) is the first Magnetic Confinement Fusion company in the EU. We are building the first net-energy producing stellarator by combining proprietary innovations in modular design, the manufacturing of next-generation High-Temperature Superconducting (HTS) magnets, and liquid-metal (LM) walls. We are forming a team of the brightest, most driven scientists and engineers to realize and commercialize our non-fusion products within 2 years and integrated fusion solutions within 10 years. Our team is agile, international, and based in the exciting city of Grenoble, by the French Alps. Specifically, we are looking for an efficient and rigorous Conference Organizer to promote scientific dialogue within and outside the company. In the course of your duties, you will oversee the organization of internal and external events such as conferences, seminars, and our internal science club. Responsibilities<ul> <li>Organize internal technical seminars given by either internal or external speakers, including but not limited to monthly and 6-month summaries, past-work and end-of-trial period summaries, and conference reports</li> <li>In collaboration with the Head of Academic Programs, identify technical conferences relevant to RF and coordinate who goes where and presents what</li> <li>Coach colleagues in good presentation delivery and coordinate their rigorous rehearsal of external presentations in collaboration with the conference organizer and the Media group</li> <li>Ensure quality of all external presentations</li> <li>Organize, coordinate and deploy the participation of RF speakers at national and international conferences, as well as seminars at universities and labs</li> <li>Mobilize and extend the RF network to identify external speakers and offer internal seminars on a regular basis</li></ul> RequirementsDo not hesitate to apply if you don’t meet all the requirements.
