<ol><li>JOB PURPOSE</li></ol><ul><li>Accurate and timely accounting of Fixed Assets and sound MIS reporting thereof, so that management can make financially sound business decisions in Fixed Assets accounting</li><li>The Fixed Asset Accountant's responsibilities include, but are not limited to, recording the cost of newly acquired fixed assets (both tangible and intangible), tracking existing fixed assets, recording depreciation, and accounting for the disposition of fixed assets.</li><li>To ensure that all accounting jobs are performed timely and accurately in line with prescribed standards (Local GAAP and USGAAP).</li></ul><ol><li>DIMENSIONS</li></ol>              Financial:<ul><li>Fixed Assets Accounting</li><li>Reporting</li><li>Multiple ledger books of accounting</li></ul>              Non-Financial:<ul><li>Supporting Statutory / Internal Audit</li><li>Liaise with the IT Team and Business to ensure proper accounting and reporting</li></ul> <ol><li>PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:</li></ol><ul><li>Record Fixed Assets Acquisitions, transfers &amp; Disposals in the accounting system.</li><li>Review clearing, CIP balances weekly.</li><li>Perform monthly sub-ledger and GL reconciliations.</li><li>Ensure the deliverables are met as per the agreed timelines.</li><li>Communicate with co-workers, management, and clients courteously and professionally.</li><li>Reporting for work promptly when scheduled</li><li>Perform month-end activities.</li></ul>
