This network strengthens grid stability - a critical foundation for scaling AI data centers and other energy-intensive industries.<h3> Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Own the end-to-end design and delivery of power systems across Fuse’s renewable energy, data center and connections work from LV to EHV</li><li>Develop detailed electrical design packages, including single line diagrams (SLDs), protection and control schemes, equipment layouts, cable schedules and earthing/bonding designs</li><li>Perform power system studies, covering load flow, fault level, protection coordination, harmonic and dynamic stability analysis</li><li>Lead grid connection applications and compliance submissions and ensure compliance with all relevant UK Grid Code and G99 requirements</li><li>Review OEM, EPC and vendor documentation for technical compliance, grid integration capability and interface consistency</li><li>Develop and maintain internal design standards, study templates and calculation tools to ensure technical consistency and efficiency across projects</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>You hold a degree in Electrical or Power Engineering</li><li>You bring at least 3 years’ experience in HV power system design for substations, grid connections or renewable projects</li><li>You have a strong understanding of HV/LV systems, grid code compliance and UK connection standards.
