<div>We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Associate to manage and process payroll for our organization, with a specific focus on prevailing wage compliance and reporting. Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Process bi-weekly payroll for ESS employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.</li><li>Research, calculate and process prevailing wage rates for applicable employees, including fringe benefits and overtime.</li><li>Prepare and submit certified payroll reports in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations (e.g., IRA, state prevailing wage laws).</li><li>Maintain accurate payroll records, wage adjustments, and benefit withholdings.</li><li>Ensure compliance with all payroll-related laws, including tax withholding, garnishments, and benefits contributions.</li><li>Assist with reconciling payroll accounts.</li><li>Collaborate with HR and management to address employee payroll inquiries and resolve issues.</li><li>Stay updated on changes to prevailing wage laws, tax regulations, and reporting requirements.</li><li>Assist with audits by providing necessary payroll documentation and reports.</li><li>Assist with payroll-related reports, including labor cost analysis and compliance documentation.</li><li>Act as primary point-of-contact for Client Compliance team requests and deliverables.</li></ul> Qualifications:<ul><li>Proven experience as a Payroll Associate or similar role, with a focus on prevailing wage payroll.</li><li>Strong knowledge of prevailing wage laws, including the IRA and state-specific requirements.</li><li>Proficiency in payroll related software and Microsoft Excel.</li><li>Familiarity with certified payroll reporting and compliance requirements.</li><li>Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.</li><li>Able to manage time to meet tight payroll deadlines.</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.</li><li>Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.</li><li>Knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations.</li><li>Strong communication skills to interact with employees, management, and external agencies.</li></ul> Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment visas at this time.  The expected annual compensation range for this position is $65,000 - $75,000, encompassing base pay and potential incentive target opportunity.
