We are looking to hire a talented COMMERCIAL/ INDUSTRIAL PROJECT MANAGER in our Hermon, Maine office.  The primary responsibility of this position is to assist project management in the successful supervision and management of construction activities, in the safest manner possible.  This position may require occasional travel or relocation.  PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to:<ul><li>Under the direct supervision of project management assist in the following processes to include budgets, project buy-outs, scheduling, resource and workforce allocation, communication, safety, and client satisfaction.</li><li>Provide appropriate support, guidance, and input into the development and updating of all project schedules, job cost, and other management reports.</li><li>Review and support 3D BIM modeling process to support prefabrication and best in class installation practices.</li><li>Assist in the review and approval of all key job site construction methods and practices.</li><li>Assume additional duties and responsibilities as delegated by the management team.   </li></ul>SKILLS:<ul><li>Ability to effectively communicate at all levels.</li><li>Utilize innovative and effective leadership techniques to maximize employee and project performance.</li></ul>----------------------------------------------------------------------------- BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: <ul><li>Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or equivalent electrical trade and/or supervisory experience. </li><li>Maine Journeyman or Master’s (Preferred) license.</li><li>Minimum of 2 years of APM or Field Engineer experience. </li><li>Experience in Commercial, Industrial, and Renewable Energy markets.</li><li>Basic skills include MS Office suite competency, Accubid or other estimating software experience, Primavera or other scheduling software knowledge, Bluebeam software.</li><li>Maine based or knowledgeable of the Maine and NH marketplaces.</li></ul>OUR MISSION:Sargent Electric Company strives to provide project management excellence and exceptional workmanship on every job.  Our employees and our reputation are the cornerstone of our business.  We are a team of highly skilled professionals with an unwavering commitment to safety.  We perform every job knowing that our work is part of the lives of our people and our communities.
