The successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of the employee lifecycle, from onboarding through to offboarding, while ensuring HR best practices and compliance across key HR functions.Key Responsibilities:Performance Management &amp; Talent Development<ul><li>Support the annual performance review process, ensuring consistency and alignment with business objectives.</li><li>Assist in identifying development needs and supporting employee growth initiatives.</li><li>Partner with leadership on talent calibration and succession planning.</li></ul>Compensation &amp; Benefits<ul><li>Assist in the coordination and analysis of annual compensation reviews, including benchmarking and internal equity reviews.</li><li>Collaborate with internal partners to manage employee benefits administration and employee communications.</li><li>Coordinate maternity leave benefits, clearly explaining programs and processes to employees.</li><li>Initiate and oversee short-term and long-term disability claims, respond to employee inquiries, and track all leaves to provide timely status updates to HRBPs.</li></ul>Employee Relations &amp; Compliance<ul><li>Serve as a point of contact for employee questions and concerns, providing guidance and escalating issues where appropriate.</li><li>Ensure HR practices are compliant with employment laws and internal policies.</li><li>Maintain up-to-date documentation, including employee handbooks and policy manuals.</li><li>Demonstrate effective situation and conflict management skills by working closely with managers to ensure employee relations matters are handled professionally, efficiently, and in a way that minimizes risk to the business.</li></ul>Talent Acquisition Strategy<ul><li>Partner with internal recruiting teams and hiring managers to align recruitment strategies with business needs.</li><li>Support hiring efforts by helping to manage interview logistics, offer processes, and candidate experience.</li></ul>Onboarding &amp; Offboarding<ul><li>Oversee  onboarding for new hires, ensuring a seamless integration into the firm.</li><li>Support offboarding processes including termination, exit interviews, system access changes, and final documentation.</li></ul>Visas &amp; Immigration<ul><li>Work with legal counsel and internal teams to manage relocation processes, including visa applications, renewals, and compliance tracking.</li></ul>HR Operations &amp; Projects<ul><li>Participate in and lead cross-functional HR initiatives and continuous improvement projects.</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.</li><li>3–6 years of progressive HR experience; financial services or professional services experience preferred.</li><li>Strong understanding of HR best practices, employment law, and compensation fundamentals.</li><li>Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.</li><li>Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a high degree of professionalism and confidentiality.</li><li>Proficient in MS Office; experience with Workday or similar HRIS systems a plus.</li><li>Advanced proficiency in Excel with strong reporting and data analysis capabilities (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, dashboards).</li></ul>Brookfield is committed to maintaining a Positive Work Environment that is safe and respectful; our shared success depends on it.  Accordingly, we do not tolerate workplace discrimination, violence or harassment.Brookfield is committed to creating an accessible and inclusive organization.
