Associate Design Engineer We are seeking a motivated and experienced Mechanical Design Engineer (Sr. Engineer/Engineer level) with 3-7 years of experience to join our dynamic team in Vadodara. The successful candidate will thrive in our open team culture, benefit from continuous learning opportunities, and gain valuable hands-on experience in executing internal global customer projects.Responsibilities / Tasks<ul><li>Understand project tasks and evaluate required input from customers.</li><li>Proactively communicate any missing information, tools, or resources needed for task execution.</li><li>Create 3D models and 2D drawings of General Arrangements (GA), Plant Layouts, and plant-related equipment based on given GEA technology.</li><li>Adhere to the established drawing/model review process within the team.</li><li>Take full accountability for own design drawings and models.</li><li>Generate equipment fabrication drawings and Bills of Materials (BOMs).</li><li>Work on Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&amp;IDs), layouts, ducting, and other plant-related tasks.</li><li>Plan own work in alignment with the overall project schedule in consultation with the manager.</li><li>Effectively manage time across multiple tasks and provide progress updates to relevant stakeholders.</li></ul>Your Profile / Qualifications<ul><li>Proficiency in CAD software, preferably Autodesk Inventor .</li><li>Knowledge of plant 3d and plant layout will be added advantage</li><li>Experience with PLM/PDM software, preferably Vault.</li><li>Familiarity with ERP systems.</li><li>Competent in using Microsoft Office tools.</li><li>Demonstrate agility and independence in task execution while being an effective team player.</li><li>Flexible to undertake various design tasks within or across different teams.</li><li>Self-motivated to learn about various products/systems within different GEA technologies.</li><li>Must possess good English communication skills (oral and written).</li><li>Experience in Component designing</li></ul>Educational Qualification and Experience:<ul><li>Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.</li><li>Minimum of 3-7 years of experience in mechanical design using various CAD software, preferably Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD, Plant 3D, etc.</li><li>Experience in FMCG, Dairy, Pharma will be added advantage</li></ul>Competencies of the Function:<ul><li>Manage, develop, and innovate 3D libraries.</li><li>Create basic P&amp;IDs for projects.</li><li>Create 3D packages of drawings.</li><li>Generate Bills of Materials (BOMs) for projects.</li></ul>Did we spark your interest?
