As a Senior Vehicle Attribute Engineer, you’ll work alongside world-class experts in robotics, controls, and vehicle engineering to bring this vision to life. In this role, you’ll sit at the heart of Vehicle Integration, guiding attribute teams, aligning cross-functional efforts, and ensuring every element of our vehicle meets the highest standards of performance, comfort, and safety.</span></div><br><br><h3>In this role, you will:</h3><ul><li>Lead and coordinate cross-functional vehicle attribute team (e.g. vehicle dynamics, NVH, thermal, energy, safety, ergonomics) to deliver key program milestones for Zoox’s next generation autonomous vehicle</li><li>Partner closely with Attribute Leads to define development plans, align priorities, and ensure seamless execution across engineering disciplines</li><li>Track progress against performance targets, identify gaps, and drive data-based root cause analyses and resolution plans</li><li>Prepare and present attribute status updates for program reviews and leadership gates, ensuring risks and trade-offs are clearly communicated</li><li>Support strategic decision-making by balancing performance, cost, mass, safety, and timing to achieve optimal balance and integration of vehicle attributes</li><li>Drive initiatives such as defining and developing test assets and methodologies to validate vehicle-level requirements </li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Bachelor’s or Masters degree in Engineering</li><li>At least 10+ years of experience in vehicle attribute development or integration</li><li>Technical understanding of vehicle systems, validation, and cross-functional integration</li><li>Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, drive decisions, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment</li><li>Skilled in data analysis, documentation, and reporting; proficiency with Smartsheet, Jira, and Google Workspace</li></ul><h3>Bonus Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Experience in Technical Program Management</li><li>Experience in electric or autonomous vehicle development preferred</li></ul><br><div><b>About Zoox</b></div><div>Zoox is developing the first ground-up, fully autonomous vehicle fleet and the supporting ecosystem required to bring this technology to market.
