Together, we will change the future of energy, because the world can't wait.</div>What You Will Be Doing: As our Accountant, you will play an important role in the growth of our company. You will support the Finance team with transactional processing, journal entry preparation, balance sheet account reconciliations, variance analyses, and the preparation of deliverables for the financial statement audit. You will also assist with the implementation of internal controls. You will report to the Controller and work at our Everett, WA office. <ul><li>Support accounting period close for areas of functional responsibility which may include preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations and variance analysis  </li><li>Analyze fluctuations and trends in financial statement line items and provide insightful commentary </li><li>Assist with the preparation of the monthly financial reporting package and financial statement disclosures </li><li>Support external audit requirements related to specific assigned areas  </li><li>Proactively review current procedures and seek ways to improve processes to ensure timely monthly close, accuracy of accounting entries, and operational efficiency  </li><li>Perform technical accounting research and draft technical accounting memos </li><li>Assist in designing, implementing, maintaining and monitoring accounting policies and procedures; and assist in internal control and process documentation  </li><li>Manage assigned projects and collaborate with cross-functional team members in delivering high quality, decision ready information to our business partners </li></ul>Required Skills: <ul><li>Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field or equivalent experience </li><li>2+ years of accounting experience preferably with a background in manufacturing, energy, or technology industries </li><li>Comfortable working with individuals at all organizational levels </li></ul>#LI-Onsite <div><div><div>Total Compensation and BenefitsHelion's compensation package includes a competitively benchmarked base salary, meaningful equity grants, and comprehensive benefits.
