<div>        <h3>Description</h3>        <div>          <div>            <h2>About the job</h2><p><span>Electric Era is hiring an Electrical Engineer to join our team as we move quickly toward shipping units into the field. As a generalist, you’ll be expected to take a major part in owning everything electrical for our battery pack, and you can help shape our company culture along with our design.</span></p><p><br></p><p><span>Responsibilities:</span></p><p><br></p><ul><li><span>Develop, refine, and simplify system level requirements and translate them into circuits (on- or off-PCB) that integrate with our system architecture.</span></li><li><span>Lead multi-disciplinary root-causing efforts to identify design problems and roll out effective solutions.</span></li><li><span>Deliver cost-optimized designs for battery storage systems and EV charging stations that are manufacturable by our in-house team or by our suppliers, including architectures, system wiring diagrams, and PCB schematics and layouts.</span></li><li><span>Contribute to documentation and testing for regulatory certification, and create or revise designs that comply with safety and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) requirements.</span></li><li><span>Identify electronic part sources that reduce supply chain dependency and system cost.</span></li><li><span>Specify and integrate commercial power and control components such as transformers, relays, and power supplies into purpose-built control systems.</span></li><li><span>Create ISO 9001-compliant electronic manufacturing test systems.</span></li><li><span>Collaborate with our site implementation team to enable efficient, compliant, and reliable charging stations.</span></li></ul><p><br></p><p><span>Qualifications and Preferred Skills:</span></p><p><br></p><ul><li><span> Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering; Master’s degree is a plus.</span></li><li><span>2-6 years of professional experience, showing a strong portfolio of project work.</span></li><li><span>Schematic entry and PCB layout - knowledge of Altium is a plus.</span></li><li><span>Knowledge of bench power supplies, loads, multimeters, and oscilloscopes.</span></li><li><span>Awareness of the principles of high-voltage safety.</span></li><li><span>Knowledge of design for isolation and hi-pot testing.</span></li><li><span>Thermal design for integrated circuits, power devices, and battery cells.</span></li><li><span>A documentation mindset in schematic design and process execution.</span></li><li><span>Passion for our mission to decarbonize the transportation industry.</span></li><li><span>Strong verbal and written communication skills.</span></li><li><span>Enthusiasm for taking on multiple roles and working across disciplines with a small team.</span></li></ul><p><br></p>          </div>        </div>      </div> <div>        Salary        <p>$100,000 - $150,000 per year</p>      </div> <div>        <div>            Apply for Electrical Engineer        </div>      </div>
