This is achieved primarily through calculations. It is extremely important that the Intern develop a comfort level with appropriate loads for a variety of building types. This is the basic foundation for an engineer as they continue to more advanced topics. Our Interns will be exposed to a number of different roles performed by engineers within this industry. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented BIM Intern to join our team for the Summer of 2026. As a BIM Intern, you will work closely with our experienced professionals to support project delivery, gain hands-on experience with BIM software while drafting project drawings for various MEPTA building systems, and contribute to innovative design solutions. Responsibilities will include the following: <ul><li>Assist in the development and maintenance of BIM models for construction projects.</li><li>Support design teams by producing drawings, schedules, and 3D visualizations using Revit and AutoCAD.</li><li>Collaborate with engineers to ensure model accuracy and project coordination.</li><li>Help with model clash detection and data management.</li><li>Participate in project and team meetings.</li><li>Learn company BIM standards, best practices, and emerging industry technologies.</li></ul> <ul></ul>Requirements:<ul><li>Currently enrolled in a program for drafting, architecture, engineering, or a related field</li><li>Familiarity with BIM software such as Autodesk Revit, and/or AutoCAD</li><li>Strong attention to detail and organizational skills</li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team</li><li>Excellent communication skills</li><li>Interest in digital design, modeling, and technology within the built environment</li></ul> BranchPattern is a great place to work!BranchPattern is an award-winning firm built by engineers and building scientists who genuinely care about improving people’s lives.
