Job DescriptionAECOM is seeking a Project Manager II to be based in San Diego, CA.The successful candidate will be entrusted with the critical responsibility of managing projects to achieve specified objectives. This role demands a high level of expertise in overall project planning, coordination, and control from inception to completion. The primary focus is to ensure the delivery of functionally and financially viable projects that meet stringent deadlines, adhere to authorized budgets, and maintain the highest quality standards.Job responsibilities will include, but not limited to:<ul><li>Manages one or more moderately complex project, involving a combination of the following:</li><li>Clients with a regional geographic footprint; OR,</li><li>Projects involving multiple services provided by regional IE offices; OR,</li><li>Other complexities, such as projects that involve litigation, environmental protection, due diligence, etc.</li><li>May manage all phases of projects (from beginning to close out).</li><li>Works mostly independently but receives basic instruction on specific assignments, objectives, complex features and possible solutions.</li><li>Receives technical guidance on unusual or complex problems and supervisory approval on proposed plans for projects.</li><li>May supervise: senior level engineers (all disciplines applicable), as well as project administration, project controls, scheduling, cost control, estimating and procurement representatives.</li></ul>This also includes:<ul><li>Manages one or more very complex project, involving a combination of the following:</li><li>Clients with a national geographic footprint; OR,</li><li>Projects involving a full spectrum of services offered by IE; OR,</li><li>Other complexities, such as projects that involve litigation, environmental protection, due diligence, etc.</li><li>Manages all phases of projects (from beginning to close out).</li><li>Has consenting and regulatory authority for approvals.</li><li>Manages other Project Managers.</li></ul>
