This network strengthens grid stability - a critical foundation for scaling AI data centers and other energy-intensive industries.We’re now looking for a hands-on and detail-driven Electrical Engineering Intern to join our team onsite in London. You’ll be working closely with some of Europe’s best operators who have joined us from the likes of Tesla and SpaceX, helping to test and build an all-in-one solar and storage product. This role is ideal for someone who can deal well with ambiguity, reason from first-principles and demonstrate engineering rigour. You should be comfortable working in a lab and have experience testing and debugging your own products.<h3>Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Set up and run circuit tests, record results and identify ways to improve performance</li><li>Measure switching waveforms, characterise circuits and test their limits</li><li>Debug designs, propose fixes and take ownership of testing and PCB validation</li><li>Support power converter, battery management and electronic design projects</li><li>Assist with cost optimisation, automated test setups and production ramp-up</li><li>Contribute to continuous improvements and future product iterations</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics or a related field</li><li>Strong hands-on experience - you’ve built, tested or debugged your own projects</li><li>Knowledge of power electronics, converter topologies, switching devices (SiC, GaN) and waveforms</li><li>Confident using lab equipment like oscilloscopes, probes and high voltage test benches</li><li>Safety-conscious and curious - you like understanding how things work (and how to make them better)</li></ul>Bonus<ul><li>Experience designing or testing a solar converter, grid inverter or power converter</li><li>Exposure to PCB design and debugging</li><li>Interest in battery management systems or renewable energy technologies</li></ul>Benefits<ul><li>Internship salary above London average</li><li>Deliveroo allowance for breakfast and dinner</li><li>Fully expensed tech to match your needs</li></ul>
