AECOM is seeking a Deputy Construction Manager, - Airport Project to join our team. This position is based on-site, out of Mississauga. We are seeking professionals to join our team to help us build one of the most advanced, sustainable and passenger-friendly airports in the world. We are looking to hire four individuals for this role. These positions will support various aviation-related projects, including:<ul><li>Airfield Electrical;</li><li>Airfield Civil;</li></ul>Please indicate in the pre-screening questions during you application process which of the aviation-related projects best align with your skills and interests.  You may also discuss this further with the team during the interview process.   Note that the number of positions may change based on program requirements.Major Requirements:<ul><li>Acts as the delegate for the Construction Manager when required, ensuring continuity in the oversight and coordination of construction activities.</li><li>Supports the Construction Manager in executing responsibilities across all aspects of project delivery, including the following key functions:</li><li>Leads the owner’s oversight of construction coordination and inspection activities.</li><li>Collaborates with the contractor’s construction management team to ensure effective and aligned project execution.</li><li>Manages the owner’s construction management team, including the Deputy Construction Manager and Construction Inspectors, within the sub-program.</li><li>Provides expert guidance on construction management and overall project delivery matters.</li><li>Assists in design management efforts to confirm alignment with procurement and construction requirements.</li><li>Participates in design-phase reviews, including constructability assessments, scope validation, and value engineering.</li><li>Monitors contractor activities to assess compliance with technical specifications and project requirements.</li><li>Tracks construction progress and schedule performance, producing regular status reports.</li><li>Supports financial processes, including review of contractor applications for payment and invoicing.</li><li>Oversees post-construction activities to ensure a smooth transition to operations and performs warranty reviews.</li><li>Contributes to claims analysis and provides recommendations for resolution strategies.</li><li>Coordinates with safety, quality assurance, and inspection teams to uphold project standards.</li></ul>
