We invite passionate individuals to join our team, dedicated to exceeding customer expectations through innovative and sustainable solutions.Goals and Objectives: To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily:<ul><li>Provide Applications Engineering support such as system / pump station design, schematic and hydraulic calculations to channel partners, distributors and end users.</li><li>Review tenders, specifications, and engineering drawings, identifying risks, deviations, and optimization opportunities.</li><li>Selects appropriate equipment / materials to meet customer needs and to develop project costing and pricing.</li><li>Generates customer proposals utilizing standard tools, seeks and gains appropriate approval levels.</li><li>Administers and review submittal documents that have been prepared for customers and/or tenders.</li><li>Collaborate with other technical and engineering groups to provide the required customer solution.</li><li>Provide timely responses to inquiries.</li><li>Builds and nurtures relationships with key stakeholders within all of Xylem’s commercial teams.</li><li>Overlook the work of executed inquiries and also guide and support other team members with technical queries. </li></ul>Must Have: <ul><li>Knowledge of pump hydraulics, mechanics and construction.</li><li>Knowledge of Motors, Drives and monitoring and control equipment.</li><li>Familiarity with international standards, codes, and compliance frameworks. </li><li>Ability to engage and communicate effectively in customer-facing settings.</li></ul>Good to Have:<ul><li>Understanding of Pump / system station design, schematic diagram and hydraulic calculations.</li><li>Ability to build relationships and to influence key stakeholders without having a direct supervisory relationship</li><li>Proven ability to handle multiple projects, prioritize, meet deadlines and work independently with initiative in a fast-paced environment </li><li>High-level of proficiency with MS Office applications. </li></ul>Qualifications.<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in science, Engineering in Mechanical field from a recognized university.</li><li>3 to 6 years+ related experience with rotating equipment preferred. </li></ul>Join the global Xylem team to be a part of innovative technology solutions transforming water usage, conservation, and re-use.
