This role is ideal for someone eager to become a trusted advisor to our customers, offering expert support on our range of gas detection instruments.What You'll Do: <ul><li>Provide specialized technical support for gas detection equipment via phone, email, and other channels.</li><li>Diagnose and resolve issues related to gas detection instruments, ensuring high customer satisfaction.</li><li>Work collaboratively across teams to streamline customer issue resolution. </li><li>Accurately document interactions and maintain detailed customer records. </li><li>Conduct on-site customer training, with travel up to 30%. </li><li>Audit authorized Teledyne GMI Service Centers to uphold our standards. </li><li>Offer comprehensive training on the usage, maintenance, and servicing of gas detection products.</li><li>Take on additional responsibilities as directed by management. </li></ul>What We're Looking For: <ul><li>A degree in Engineering or a related field.</li><li>Experience with gas detection equipment or portable electronic instrumentation.</li><li>Strong understanding of engineering processes and the ability to support related software applications.</li><li>Excellent communication and presentation skills. </li><li>Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. </li><li>Previous experience in customer support roles. </li><li>Ability to travel internationally and domestically, with up to 30% travel. </li><li>Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus. </li><li>High proficiency in IT.</li><li>Flexibility to occasionally work late afternoons to support American customers. </li></ul>Range of benefits include.<ul><li>Salary sacrifice-led pension plan that matches employee contributions up to 7%.</li><li>Free life assurance cover at the value of four times basic annual salary.</li><li>25 days holiday per annum plus 9 public holidays.
