Turn disorganized utility rate data into clean inputs, analyze tariff nuances (TOU tiers, demand charges, seasonal rates, riders), and translate market research into pricing decisions that drive win rate, profitability and compliance. This is a key role within GoodLeap’s Business Solutions team, supporting the growth and optimization of our B2B product suite. The role requires s strong analytical and technical skills, a solid understanding of project finance, and the ability to collaborate effectively across internal teams and external partners.</div><br><br><h3>Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:</h3><ul><li>Run detailed pricing scenarios evaluating new and existing TPO markets, ensuring competitive and financially sustainable pricing. Lead cross-functional pricing reviews and serve as subject matter expert for internal stakeholders.</li><li>Collaborate closely with the Capital Markets team to align-on financial structures, assumptions, and overall strategy related to current and future opportunities. Coordinate with Accounting, FP&amp;A, Data Engineering, and Legal to ensure accuracy and consistency across financial models, pricing and reporting.</li><li>Analyze pricing across GoodLeap's current product suite and evaluate new product offerings outside of standard TPO, PPA, and lease structures; identify pricing gaps, opportunities, and strategies to support product expansion.</li><li>Prepare and present findings, recommendations, and pricing updates to senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.</li><li>Mentor and provide guidance to junior analysts; contribute to team development through knowledge sharing, process documentation, and best practices around financial modeling and pricing methodology.</li><li>Ingest and validate utility rates (TOU, tiered, demand, fixed riders/credits, NEM/NBT, community solar credits) and maintain a clean, auditable tariff dataset.</li></ul><h3>Required Skills:</h3><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field (MBA or advanced degree a plus).</li><li>2-4+ years of relevant experience in project finance, structured finance, investment banking, private equity, or corporate finance; experience in residential solar or renewable energy strongly preferred.</li><li>Expertise in pricing analytics, utility market research, energy economics, or related role in residential solar/DER or retail energy.</li><li>Expertise in Microsoft Excel (advanced financial modeling required); VBA experience a plus.</li><li>Expertise in SQL; familiarity with Databricks preferred.</li><li>Exceptional attention to detail, analytical rigor, and problem-solving ability.</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to clearly present financial analyses to senior stakeholders.</li><li>Self-starter comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple competing priorities.</li></ul><br><div><span style="font-size:18px;">Compensation: $120,000 - $140,000 DOE</span></div><div><br></div><div><b style="font-size:15px;">Additional Information Regarding Job Duties and Job Descriptions:</b></div><div><br></div><div><span style="font-size:15px;">Job duties include additional responsibilities as assigned by one's supervisor or other managers related to the position/department.
