Here is what you will do:The Professional Quantity Surveyor acts as project leader, supervising and delivering all aspects of cost management from inception of a project through to completion. Is  intrinsically involved in projects and ensures effective delivery input of others. Guides Candidate Quantity Surveyors and independently performs all the tasks necessary to complete design works. Technical Excellence:<ul><li>Facilitates over and coordinate small - mid-size projects.</li><li>Liaises with the project Executive and the client body to establish and implement  a clear project brief.</li><li>Accountable for a variety of complex deliverables throughout the lifecycle of a project</li><li>Briefs the team on the project scope to ensure roles and responsibilities are understood</li><li>Manages the resources on a project and within the established budget</li><li>Monitors and manages the performance of Project Surveyors and other direct reports</li><li>Functions as a Deputy Project Manager on APIC on at least one active project</li><li>Assists with managing project services and projects using APIC and other systems as relevant</li><li>Ensures all deliverables comply with the PDS</li><li>Complies with all QA requirements and benchmarks project data</li><li>Working in conjunction with Executives to assist with the management                                                                                                          </li></ul>Client Relationship Management:<ul><li>Begins to build and maintain client relationships.</li><li>Attends client meetings as technical support to gather information and discuss project requirements, explain/ defend work, etc.</li><li>Participates in the development and preparation of bids and proposals</li><li>Presents solutions to clients in a professional and technically competent manner.   </li></ul>
